Budgetly is developed and operated by Saranjith Krishnan Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Budgetly mobile application, visit our website, or contact us for support.
- INFORMATION STORED IN BUDGETLY
Budgetly allows you to enter and manage information such as:
• Expense amounts
• Categories and budgets
• Accounts and labels
• Transaction dates
• Notes
• Spending summaries and reports
Under the current design, this information is stored locally on your device. Saranjith Krishnan Inc. does not receive, access, or store this information on its own servers.
Budgetly does not require you to create an account.
- DATA COLLECTION
Budgetly does not collect personal information or financial information from the application.
Budgetly does not:
• Sell personal information
• Share personal information for advertising
• Track users across apps or websites
• Display third-party advertising
• Use third-party analytics SDKs
• Create advertising profiles
• Upload expense records to our servers
These statements apply only if the released version of Budgetly and all included third-party software operate as described.
- IN-APP PURCHASES
Budgetly may offer a one-time purchase that unlocks premium features.
Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. Saranjith Krishnan Inc. does not receive or store your complete payment-card or banking details.
Apple may provide Budgetly with information needed to verify the status of a purchase, such as whether the lifetime upgrade has been purchased or restored. Apple handles this information according to its own privacy policies.
- STATEMENT EXPORTS
Budgetly can create PDF or Excel statements using information stored in the app.
An exported statement is shared only when you choose to export, save, or send it. Once you send a statement to Files, iCloud Drive, email, messaging, or another application, that service’s privacy practices apply.
You are responsible for protecting exported files that contain sensitive financial information.
- DEVICE BACKUPS
Depending on your device settings and Apple’s backup services, locally stored Budgetly data may be included in an encrypted device or iCloud backup.
Saranjith Krishnan Inc. does not control Apple’s backup services. You can manage backup settings through your Apple device and Apple Account.
- SUPPORT COMMUNICATIONS
If you contact us for support, we may receive:
• Your name and email address
• Information included in your message
• App and device details you provide
• Screenshots or attachments you choose to send
We use this information only to respond to your request, investigate problems, protect our services, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Please do not send payment-card details, passwords, banking credentials, or unnecessary financial records when requesting support.
- WEBSITE INFORMATION
When you visit our support or privacy-policy website, the hosting provider may process limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, access time, and requested pages.
This information may be used for security, reliability, and basic website operation. We do not use it to build advertising profiles or track you across unrelated services.
- DATA RETENTION
Expense information stored locally remains on your device until you delete the information or remove Budgetly.
Deleting Budgetly may remove locally stored app data. It does not automatically delete:
• Files you exported to another location
• Information contained in device backups
• Support emails you sent to us
• Information processed independently by Apple
Support communications are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to answer requests, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
- DATA SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information provided directly to us.
However, no electronic storage or communication method is completely secure. You should protect your device with a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID and store exported statements carefully.
- CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Budgetly is a general-purpose personal finance utility and is not directed specifically to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Budgetly application. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support request, contact us so that we can review and delete it when appropriate.
- YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information held by Saranjith Krishnan Inc., including the right to request access, correction, or deletion.
Because Budgetly’s expense information is stored locally, we generally cannot view, retrieve, correct, or delete it remotely.

- INTERNATIONAL USERS
Budgetly may be available in multiple countries and regions. If you contact us, your support information may be processed in the country where Saranjith Krishnan Inc. operates or where its service providers operate.
Where required, we take reasonable steps to protect information according to applicable privacy laws.
- THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Budgetly relies on Apple services for application distribution and in-app purchases. Apple’s handling of information is governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy policies.
If future versions add analytics, cloud synchronization, advertising, crash reporting, or other third-party services, this Privacy Policy and Budgetly’s App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before those practices begin.

We may update this Privacy Policy when Budgetly’s features, legal requirements, or data-handling practices change.
