Sudoku

Last updated 23 August 2026

Sudoku collects no data about you. None at all.

The short version. The app has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no network connection. Nothing you do in it leaves your device, because there is nowhere for it to go — there is no server on the other end.

What is stored, and where

Everything the app remembers is written to your device’s private storage, readable only by the app:

  • Your puzzle in progress — the board, your notes, and elapsed playing time.
  • Your statistics — how many puzzles you have completed, your times, and your personal bests.
  • Your settings — theme, contrast, hints and accessibility preferences.

Deleting the app removes all of it. You can also erase it from inside the app at any time using Settings → Delete Local Data.

What is not collected

  • No name, email address, or account of any kind.
  • No device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or location.
  • No usage analytics, crash reporting, or behavioural tracking.
  • No contacts, photos, microphone, or camera access — the app never asks, because it never needs to.

Third parties

There are none. The app bundles no advertising networks, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party services. It makes no network requests, so no third party ever sees that you are using it.

Tracking

The app does not track you and does not ask for permission to, because it has nothing to track you with. It is not part of any data broker or advertising network.

Children

The app is rated 4+ and is safe for any age. Since it collects nothing from anyone, it collects nothing from children either.

Changes

If a future version ever collects anything, this page will say so plainly and before the change ships, and the App Store privacy label will be updated to match.
